The modelling industry is constantly looking for new faces. Designers like to use different faces to represent their collection in each season. Model agencies are always on the look out for the next top model. One who has the potential to become famous or popular and in return generate more money for the agency.

In general, the male modelling industry is not as popular as the female modelling industry. But in the recent years, the male modelling industry has grown a lot and there are a few top male models who’ve managed to become celebrities and actors, making big money from the industry.

Kenneth K.P. Guidroz is one of the new faces in the industry. You may not know his name but you’ve probably seen him on billboards, bus stops and phone booths across New York. HUF Magazine caught up with him, where he tells us more about himself and the fantastic start to his modelling career.


HUF: How did you first get into modelling? And how long have you been modelling?

Kenneth: I got into modelling mainly because my mother would always tell me I should give it a try. She would always say, “Boy you have a look, you have the eyes, you should look into it.” I would always just blow it off ’cause I was always into football. Which I have played all my life.
