Why do I like it? Why do I recommend it?

I have to admit that I was dragging my feet watching this one but I’m glad that i did. Growing up, I was brought up in the Catholic teachings, attended Sunday mass every week at 5 am sharp, and have had many private conversations with my Church Priest about my “chosen lifestyle”. It wasn’t pleasant for me. Once I got over my personal feelings of organized religion I was able to fully enjoy this story.

Not your average gay drama movie, and I’m not surprised that this was attacked by the Catholic Church for being Anti-Catholic but in all fairness It wasn’t. It showed both the good and bad. It mainly just pointed out some issues that they deal with.

Watch this thought-provoking movie as the queer priest questions his spirituality, the laws of the church and God himself.

Brilliant performances by Linus Roache(Homeland, Vikings, Law and Order), Tom Wilkinson(Selma, RocknRolla, Batman Begins), Robert Carlyle(One Upon A Time, The Full Monty, Stargate Universe).
