Where are you based?
I live in Berlin, the city where I was born.

What do you do and why?
I am creating appealing images and stories of people. Always trying to show their beauty, whatever beauty can be. Besides portrait and fashion photography, I focus on feature and short film.

In your own word, describe the term “Photographer” and “Filmmaker”?
A photographer, in my opinion, is someone who sees the world in a more detailed way, than a regular person. He/she captures moments and nuances of life, to let everyone see the beauty of a particular thing. A filmmaker, is similar to me, in addition to creating that richness of detail in a moving image.

What is the best thing about being a creative person?
As I never felt, how life would be without creativity, it’s hard to say what the best thing is. But I am genuinely thankful to be recognized for what I do and it fills my life with joy, being able to boost my creativity.

Who or what is the most important thing in your life?
The most important thing for me are my friends and family, which is a standard answer, but always true. They are the ones to carry you, when you feel bad, who are there for you, when you need help. Being a creative also means to cope with defeat a lot. Sometimes you are really down and need people to build you up.

What is your ambition?
I want to create inspiring films, that show my aesthetic and my belief of the world. The best result would be if those films let the viewer reflect their own behavior.

If you could change one thing about this world, what would it be?
I feel like humans are destroying the beautiful world we live in, more and more. Overcrowding, wars, pollution. It makes me so angry to see, how the human race thinks of itself as the rulers of nature. I would love to see a world in which humans unite with nature again and live in peace.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy the most is working with other creatives on a project, like a film. Getting together, starting a creative process, becoming a family, it feels so good to pull together.
