Airon Mallars is a model based in Los Angeles. Although he’s only been modeling for a year, he is proving to be immensely popular with photographers such as David Wagner, Ben Veronis, and Michael Stokes. We believe that Airon Mallars could soon become the next star model. Currently signed by Otto Models and CGM Models, HUF Magazine welcomed the opportunity to speak with Airon and find out more about him.

Where do you live and work? What’s it like living and working there?
I live in Los Angeles! But for work, I travel a lot, shooting all around the States! I love Los Angeles. I moved here a year and a half ago and planned on staying for a while. It’s a great spot to get work done!

How long have you been modeling, and how did you become a fitness model?
I’ve been modeling for a year now! I reached out to Michael Stokes for a shoot, and it was all uphill from there!

Do you remember your very first professional photoshoot?
I’ve never shot for any big brands or anything, but my first shoot with the most talented Michael Stokes was great. He taught me a lot, and I learned a lot from that shoot. I have used that knowledge throughout this past year for all my other shoots!

You are currently signed by Otto Models and CGM Models?
I signed with Otto Models first and was super excited about it! Tereza, my agent, is amazing and super easy to work with. Love being signed with her. And with CGM, I just signed with a couple of weeks ago! So we will see how that goes!

You have been featured in many publications. Which photoshoot is your favorite so far?
My favorite photoshoot and magazine would probably be Desnudo. And with my biggest publication, I got to work with Lyster Villarama. He’s an amazing photographer!

What do your family and friends think about you being a model?
They absolutely love it and are very, very supportive!

If you could be the face of any brand, which brand would it be?
Probably Louis Vuitton or Versace. I love their stuff.

You have created Mallars Co (@mallarsco), an official brand of yours. Can you tell us more?
Yes!! I have been working super hard on this! Still in the works but should be up and ready to go in a couple more weeks! It’s a jewelry line of mine. Super excited about it. Can’t wait to share my work with you all!!!

How do you stay in shape?
I don’t eat a lot of carbs, and I do a lot of fast-paced workouts where I’m working out consistently for at least 30 minutes a day 5-6 times a week. All bodyweight workouts. And I eat very clean! Recently went vegetarian too! I’ve been on it for two weeks! Highly recommend it – such a fantastic feeling.
