Why do I like It? Why do I recommend?
Let me begin by saying that this movie started with a bang. Now, I won’t tell you exactly how because it’ll be a spoiler but It definitely got my attention from the first 5 minutes.
This is a sweet and innocent love story that was brought together by faith and random luck. It goes to show you that if it’s meant to be then it will be and that you can’t help who you fall in love with. This young and new relationship was tested by their past and having the parents disapprove didn’t help the situation.
What I liked best about this film was the unique script and it honestly had me wondering what would happen next. In my own experience I can tell you that Mexican parents can hold a grudge and it’s nearly impossible for them to move on, so I was worried for the couple. That is probably the most I can say without actually spoiling it for you but give this movie a shot. It’s a good and worthwhile watch.
Brilliant performances by Matthew Frias, Edmund Donavan, and Andrea Burns.
